Equine Innovative Medicine

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, which is where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Nevada.

After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I attended Veterinary School at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies.

This program is unique in its curriculum and allowed me to attend Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama for my final year, which I chose due to their superb large animal program.

Over the years there have been many clients and colleagues that have provided me with incredibly challenging cases.

These cases have led me on a constant quest for more knowledge and skills. For example, learning acupuncture at Colorado State University’s Veterinary program.

Acupuncture has provided me with an additional skill to help treat the whole patient, not just the problem or lameness.

I am endlessly eager to learn new things and I always have enjoyed problem, two factors that have guided me to specialize in sports medicine.
