McGee Street Animal Hospital has provided trusted veterinary care to pets in Norman, Oklahoma and surrounding communities for over 50 years.

Originally founded in the 1960’s, we have been owned and operated by Dr. Greg Emmert since 2001.

To expand the quality of our care and stay at the forefront of veterinary technology (and to give us a little more room to play with your pets!) we have expanded the facility to four times its original size.

Our team is a friendly, knowledgeable bunch who truly loves animals—in addition to being skilled and experienced veterinary care providers, they’re also experts at the fine art of belly rubs and nose-booping!

Our practice offers a full range of services including wellness exams, canine rehabilitation, laser surgery, pet dentistry, orthopedic surgery, senior care, advanced diagnostics, and more.

We work hard to ensure every patient is comfortable and relaxed during their appointments with us, and with your help (because you know your pet best) we’ll create a custom wellness or treatment plan that addresses your pet’s particular needs.
