Kiamichi Veterinary Clinic

We are a family owned and operated mixed animal practice located in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Our veterinarian-on-staff, Dr. Melvin Crownover, is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University.

Having grown up on small and large ranches in both Oklahoma and Texas prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Crownover has always been around a mixed variety of animals.

Over the years, his family has raised and worked cows, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, and various small animals.

Dr. Crownover, his wife Erica, and three children, now enjoy raising livestock, in addition to caring for the welfare of the animal community in Southeastern Oklahoma.
