Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Mitchell was born and raised in the Guymon area.

She received her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University then attended Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her veterinary degree in 2006.

She practiced medicine in Stillwater for 14 years before moving back to the panhandle to be closer to family.

She lives on a farm with her 2 daughters, husband, 2 dogs, and 3 cats.

Dr. Mitchell has been trained in the Fear Free Method and strives to make each pet's visit as pleasant as possible by accommodating each pet's special needs.

She believes each pet should feel like they are "coming to grandma's house" where they will be spoiled rotten and won't want to leave.
