Our Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) bring years of experience in clinical practice and emergency medicine along with the compassion you’d expect from a fellow animal lover.
Heather Giatis is a graduate of The Ohio State University and completed her DVM in 2011. Prior to joining Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital, Heather spent two years in general practice in Cleveland and another four years as an Emergency Veterinarian at MedVet Worthington.

Dr. Jenna Bonfiglio received her undergraduate degree as well as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina after graduation and practiced at an urgent care veterinary hospital. She decided to come back home to Columbus and couldn’t be happier to join the family at UAVH! Her interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Jenna and her fiancé, Luke, currently live in Upper Arlington with their Italian Greyhound, Oliver! They enjoy hiking, traveling and local music!
