Sugarcreek Veterinary Clinic

The Sugarcreek Veterinary Clinic was established in 1957 by Drs. William C. Edgar and D. Gene Miller at 303 South Broadway, Sugarcreek, Ohio. In 1985, Dr. Rick L. Daugherty purchased the company from Drs. Edgar and Miller, who then retired. Dr. James J. Honigford joined the company in 1990 post graduation from The Ohio State University and became a partner with Dr. Daugherty in 1992. Dr. C. Shane Donley joined the evolving practice in 1996 upon graduation. On July 4, 1998 the company moved from its original location to its current facility, at 306 South Broadway. Dr. Donley became a partner 1 year later in 1999. Dr. Brandon R. Michels joined the practice in 2016 after practicing for 3 years in the Wooster, Ohio area. In 2017, SVC expanded and renovated the clinic building to better accommodate our clients and staff. Dr. Michels became partner in Jan, 2019. We are backed by more than 100 years of experience in the animal medical field, and are proud to be a locally owned and operated animal clinic.

The Sugarcreek Veterinary Clinic is the premier provider of bovine veterinary care in East Central Ohio. We offer a comprehensive set of bovine healthcare services as well as dairy consultation services to help you reach your individual production goals.
