Plain City Animal Hospital

Founded by Dr. Paul Stephenson, the Plain City Animal Hospital began serving the Plain City, Ohio, area in 1986. Six years later, Dr. Daniel Lynn was hired as an associate veterinarian responsible for running the practice. In 1996, Dr. Lynn purchased the animal hospital. Originally located at 245 W. Main Street, the practice was moved down the street to its current home, the historic McCloud-Robinson building, five years later. In 2017, when the practice outgrew its facility, the Plain City Animal Hospital opened a 1,700-square-foot addition to provide its rapidly expanding clientele with a more comfortable and higher quality veterinary experience. The animal hospital also welcomed two additional veterinarians to the practice that year — Dr. Becky Chapman and Dr. Jamie Miller. In 2020, a second expansion was completed, increasing the number of exam rooms to nine and providing a second-floor surgical suite. In 2021, Dr. Nicole Muehl was hired as the hospital’s fourth veterinarian. The doctors, together with a hard-working and dedicated staff of veterinary technicians and assistants, serve thousands of clients from Plain City and the surrounding Central Ohio area each year.
