Great Southern Animal Hospital

Great Southern Animal Hospital has been a welcome facility for pets and their owners for the past 66 years. The long-term health and comfort of your dog or cat is very important to you, and we put their needs first when you trust your pet with us. Dr. Dustin Sears, and our friendly staff of veterinary technicians welcome patients from all over Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas, whether you need a check-up or exam, or a necessary surgical procedure.

We see dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and have the knowledge and experience to handle their specific needs. We welcome animals to see us for their yearly examinations, vaccinations, along with dental care. We also have a Laboratory to conduct complete blood chemistry profiles, radiographs, heartworm, feline leukemia, FIV, intestinal parasite examinations as well as urine, allergy and cardiac screening.

We realize how stressful it can be to have any surgical procedure done on your pet. This is the reason, Dr. Sears will meet with you prior to surgery do a physical exam and complete presurgical bloodwork. These tests are done to look for any abnormalities or anesthetic risks. Then we can discuss with you, the extra measures that are in place to ensure a safe and successful surgical outcome.
