Conveniently located at 622 Rt 34 in Matawan, NJ, Berg Animal Hospital was established in 1963 by Dr. Herman Berg. Upon Dr. Berg’s retirement in April, 2017, Berg Animal Hospital joined the family of practices owned by Dr. Francisco Velazquez and Dr. Michael Yurkus.

Like Middletown and Sea Girt Animal Hospitals, Berg Animal Hospital’s goal is to meet and exceed the needs of our patients and clients, improving both the quality and longevity of their lives. We believe in educating our clients and working with them as a team. Our staff strives to be friendly, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. Our doctors are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of medicine, preventative care, and surgery.

  • Monday - 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday - 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Friday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday - 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Sunday - Closed
