The Venturing Vet

The Venturing Vet is a mobile full service veterinary clinic that provides excellent and convenient medical and surgical care to dogs and cats throughout Bergen, Hudson, Essex, and Passaic counties of New Jersey. We bring all of our services directly to the place that is most familiar to your pet to allow your pet to receive high quality veterinary care in a less stressful environment while you can conveniently be in the comfort of your own home.

Dr. Marisa Herzog graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. She worked as a chemical engineer and veterinary assistant for three years before attending veterinary school. She received her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island. After finishing veterinary school, she completed a small animal internship in surgery and medicine at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in New York, NY. She worked in small animal private practice in New Jersey for several years performing medical and surgical care to dogs and cats before opening her own small animal mobile practice out of northern New Jersey. She enjoys working on a one to one basis with her clients in a setting that is peaceful for both them and their pets.
