Butte Veterinary Service

Mining City Veterinary Center joins Butte Veterinary Services to create a whole new experience as Butte Veterinary Center.

This new force includes four exceptional veterinarians who span the industry with skill and expertise.

They bring the most current medical knowledge to a practical level so that here, in rural Montana, it is possible to have the very best veterinary care for your companion animals and livestock.

After 20 years in business, Dr. Richard Cornelius, Butte’s renowned veterinary doctor of Butte Veterinary Services is transitioning into retirement.

Although he is looking forward to a change of pace, Dr. Cornelius will be available for both consult and limited client hours while the merging clinics upgrade, enhance and streamline all systems.

The new staff are excited about working with Dr. Cornelius and are eager to benefit from his years of dedication and experience which was driven by his gentle spirit of service towards the animals and people of the Greater Butte area.

All are honored to be a part of his legacy.

Butte Veterinary Center is now offering medical services and surgery to creatures great and small!

Animal lovers can expect practice owners Dr. Bruce Pedersen and his local business partner, Dr. Dulce Coulson to serve Butte and the surrounding community with their expert specialties in orthopedic surgery and advanced veterinary technology.

Joining the practice is Dr. Chad Foust who is known for his refined equine medicine including lameness and reproduction.
