George County Veterinary Clinic, is a family owned animal healthcare facility that has been providing comprehensive care for both small and large animals in southeast Mississippi since 1983.

Located in Lucedale, Mississippi, George County Veterinary Clinic’s service area includes George County and extends to Mobile, Alabama.

We offer a wide range of exceptional diagnostic, surgical, wellness, and preventive services at prices that everyone can afford.

Our clinic features boarding, dental procedures, digital radiography, grooming, heartworm testing, in-clinic diagnostics, allergy testing, large animal care, on-site and online pharmacy, microchipping, shock wave therapy, surgery, rehabilitation, ultrasound, and more.

Our veterinarians, Dr. Karl Smith and son, Dr. Matt Smith, as well as the entire staff at George County Veterinary Clinic are dedicated to delivering the latest techniques and treatments available in veterinary medicine.

Both doctors have extensive experience diagnosing and treating ill or injured pets and providing wellness care for companion animals as well as ruminants and large animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, horses and cattle.

We have a separate facility on-site that accommodates farm animals and horses.

For cattle, we will make farm visits that are scheduled by appointment only.

Our in-house diagnostic capabilities allow our veterinarians to check your pet from nose to tail and everywhere in between.

We also provide same day results meaning that your pet can begin receiving treatment right away if necessary.

  • Wednesday - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Sunday - Closed
