Wyandotte Animal Hospital

Were you aware, on average, pets age seven times faster than people? Most dogs and cats reach adulthood by age two. By age four they are entering middle age. By age seven many pets, particularly large breed dogs, are entering their senior years.

Because pets age so rapidly major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. Even pets that appear normal can have underlying problems. You can help keep your pet healthy by paying close attention to any changes in your pet's weight, eating and drinking, elimination, grooming habits, and behavior.

We highly encourage twice-a-year examinations, routine bloodwork vaccines, the use of year-round parasite prevention, and annual parasite testing. This can help your veterinarian diagnose, treat, and even prevent health problems before they become life-threatening conditions.

Our goal at Wyandotte Animal Hospital is to help your pet live a quality, healthy life.
