Childs Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Childs is a native of Salida, Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1990 and then graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1994 with the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Childs has been practicing veterinary medicine in Davison since 1995. He is proficient at many different types of surgery but his real passion lies with orthopedics. Dr. Childs is one of the only veterinarians in the area that is trained in the interlocking nail technique and Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA).

Dr. Childs enjoys his work. He loves working with pets of any size, and is the type of doctor that will take the time to sit down and explain what is going on and how to take care of the situation. The type of care and compassion he gives is above and beyond.

  • Monday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Thursday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - Closed
  • Sunday - Closed
