Back Cove Animal Hospital

We opened Back Cove Animal Hospital in the Summer of 2019 to provide a unique and personable veterinary experience.

Back Cove Animal Hospital is one of the few remaining local, independent and 100% veterinarian owned Portland veterinary practices.

We are beholden only to our patients and clients, not investors or a board of directors, allowing us to make medical decisions that are best for our patients.

We are proud to be members of the Independent Veterinary Practitioner's Association.

Our hospital offers a wide range of medical and surgical veterinary services for dogs, cats and small mammals.

Our services include wellness, preventative, urgent and emergency care, dentistry, spays and neuters as well as other soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. We also offer after-hours veterinary care phone support.
