Lisbon Road Animal Hospital

Lisbon Road Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Gallager in 1968.

In 1973, Dr. Charles Scheib purchased the practice, and with the help of his excellent support staff the practice grew until 1995 when Dr. Robert Clark was hired as an associate.

Dr. Clark bought into the practice the following year. It was shortly after this that the building underwent its first renovation.

Dr. Michelle Morgan joined LRAH in 2001, and purchased Dr. Scheib’s remaining interest in the practice in 2005.

Dr.Scheib continued on at the hospital until his retirement, and still occasionally fills in for us during the summer months.

It was also during this time period that the hospital underwent several more small renovations.

Over the years LRAH has continued to expand, ultimately increasing to four and then five doctors.

This growth prompted the opening of Riverside Animal Clinic in Lisbon Falls which served as a small satellite clinic staffed on a rotating basis by our LRAH staff from 2006 through November of 2014.
