As of Oct 1, 2021 we will no longer be covering after hour emergencies due to staffing shortages. You can still call the office after hours and our answering service can give you the names and numbers of the emergency clinics. They are also listed on our website. We will still be seeing emergencies during our regular office hours when needed.

We are a busy, 4-doctor AAHA-accredited (member of the American Animal Hospital Association) veterinary clinic. Our main hospital is located in Frederick and we have a satellite office in Thurmont as well. We offer medical care for dogs and cats as well as exotic pets such as: rodent pocket pets (mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas), rabbits (all breeds), birds (all breeds), and most reptiles excluding snakes.
