At Frederick Cat Vet, we are all focused on making the visit as smooth as possible for you and your cat. We understand how stressful this can be, and we strive to minimize this every step of the way. The practice is designed from the point of view of cats, clients and veterinary staff so that we can all work smoothly toward the common goal of maintaining your cat's health and well-being. We are often asked if we are a holistic practice, and that is a word that means different things to different people. Our approach sees your cat as a member of your family and will offer the best in traditional medicine and surgery, nutritional guidance, behavioral counseling, and if indicated, no medicine at all. That is our holistic philosophy.

Cats feel most vulnerable in their carriers when they are on the ground, so we have pedestals and side tables strategically located to let them feel more secure. Every cat that spends the day in the hospital has a window in the back of their small suite so that they have the option of checking on the birds and butterflies in the garden below. We want to get them well and back home as soon as possible, but in the meantime will strive to provide those comforts for your cat. We provide an attention to detail and a relaxed, quiet atmosphere in order to take care of you and your loved ones.
