Feline Hospital

The Feline Hospital, a cat-only veterinary clinic in Salem, Massachusetts, was founded in July 1984 by Dr. Kathleen Keefe Ternes. At the time, there was only one other clinic in the state that specialized in caring for cats. Limiting patients to just cats allows Dr. Ternes to put into practice the concept that cats are not small dogs and need to be treated with exclusive care. Everything about The Feline Hospital speaks to that belief. The hospital has a warm, home-like atmosphere and our staff is skilled in all things feline. Our exam rooms even have a little “cave” which our patients can jump into before or after their examinations.
