My name is Katie Parent and I am a house call veterinarian.

That means that I visit you and your pet in the comfort of your home. Why do I do this?

I love coming to your home to see your pet in his or her "native habitat."

Seeing where the pet spends their time can also help me know more about the pet and be able to make more detailed recommendations.

Pets that are fearful of going to the veterinarian can benefit from this approach because they are more comfortable in their own surroundings.

Some patients are not able to come to the veterinarian's office because of their lack of mobility.

And some pets have reached the point where they deserve a dignified and peaceful euthanasia, and for many owners and pets, the best place for that to happen is in the home.
