Welcome to The Cat Practice, New Orleans� only exclusively feline cat animal hospital.

For over 25 years, board-certified feline specialist and veterinarian Dr. W. Mark Cousins has been caring for the feline population at the animal hospital in New Orleans.

Dr. Cousins has the distinction of being the only Board Certified Feline Specialist in Louisiana, certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

He is also the only Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) granted by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

And finally, he is the only Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP) awarded by the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM) in the state of Louisiana

  • Thursday - 8:00AM to 4:00PM
  • Friday - 8:00AM to 4:00PM
  • Saturday - 8:00AM to 2:00PM
  • Sunday - Closed
