Eckert Veterinary Hospital

Casey Eckert grew up here in Versailles, KY always knowing she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become a Veterinarian. When she chose to go to Auburn, the school classified her as a Legacy since her father, Dale had graduated. While attending Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, she met and married her husband, Josh. After graduation, they moved back to Versailles and bought a farm where they raise McCurdy Plantation Horses. They have a son named Wyatt (4). Casey enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and camping.

Dr. Casey has worked around central Kentucky since 2013 and provided emergency care to VCA clients over the last several years. Casey and Josh were able to open Eckert Veterinary Hospital in December 2020 with a desire to provide quality veterinary medicine and care.

What makes Eckert Vet so special is truly our staff. Together they have so much experience and knowledge to bring to your pets. They love their work and love your pets as their own. When Dr. Casey was attending Woodford County High School, she worked as an veterinary assistant with her father's technician, Megan, who taught her how to draw blood and read intestinal parasite tests. Twenty years later, Dr. Casey had the privilege to offer Megan and many familiar faces to join her in continuing the Eckert Legacy.
