Kentucky Equine Hospital

Drs. Wes Sutter and John Cummins have joined together to open Kentucky Equine Hospital in Simpsonville, Ky. Kentucky Equine Hospital seeks to merge practical expertise with superior clinical care by providing state-of-the-art imaging techniques, lameness evaluations and a surgical referral center. Drs. Sutter and Cummins have a combined 58 years of experience caring for some of the nation’s top competition horses across a variety of disciplines.

Dr. Cummins graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982 and subsequently began his veterinary practice specializing in equine lameness and sports medicine.

Dr. Sutter received his veterinary degree in 2000 from Colorado State University and completed his surgical residency at The Ohio State University in 2004. Dr. Sutter is doubled boarded in Surgery and in Rehabilitative and Sports Medicine.
