LIVS had been a gleam in the eye of Dr. Leslie Brown for many years. Her search for complimentary care for her patients who did not respond to, or needed more than traditional veterinary medicine could offer led her into the study of other care methods and modalities. Making these resources and her professional expertise available to the animals of our community has come to fruition with Louisville Integrative Veterinary Services.

We are a local business that takes pride in our local Louisville and regional culture, our patients and clients. We proudly integrate traditional western veterinary medicine techniques with eastern and complimentary medicinal philosophies. The heart of it all however, is wellness care. Wellness at LIVS means "holistic thinking". Observing our patients as whole beings. It means considering the nutritional needs of our pets and their best food options based on animal biology. It also means evaluating their movement and exercise needs as well as their daily environment. Wellness care can also include chiropractic adjustments and/or acupuncture, as well as Chinese herbal or other supplements. We consult, provide guidance and make suggestions for your animal's continued good health. Our partnership with you is in caring for your furry family members as we would our own.
