Jarrett Small Animal Clinic
Here at Jarrett Small Animal Clinic, you can expect our hard working staff of veterinarians and technicians to care for and welcome your pets into our family. We pride ourselves on creating outstanding relationships between our staff and clients by understanding and valuing them individually. Far beyond what is expected from a visit to the vet’s office, we will always take the time to make our clients our friends. We have been caring for your pets in the Lawrence community for nearly 30 years. Dr. Jarrett opened the doors to the clinic in 1992 and has dedicated her life to the health and welfare of animals. Since graduating from Kansas State University and practicing medicine for the past 3 decades, she has decided to retire and focus her time volunteering in the community. She also enjoys spending time with her beloved Chihuahua mix, Floyd. In Dr. Jarrett’s transition into retirement, Dr. Kissinger has taken a more prominent role in the practice. Many current clients will remember her from the 15 years she spent working in the clinic as a technician before pursuing her own dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2016, in the top of her class, and has been practicing at Jarrett Small Animal Clinic since. One of Dr. Kissinger’s main goals is to implement changes based on evidence based medicine. She is consistently pushing to further educate herself, along with the rest of the staff, to provide the highest quality of care for your pets.
