Basehor Veterinary Clinic in Basehor, KS was founded in 1977 by Dr. Larry Ringel. Four decades later, the clinic is now owned and operated by Kelly Vader Lightfoot, DVM. We offer pet wellness services, diagnostic testing as well as surgery for your pet dogs and pet cats. Our goal is to provide the highest possible quality of primary and preventative veterinary medical care and surgery in a relaxing and compassionate environment. We serve Basehor, Kansas and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Kelly Vader Lightfoot was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and practiced in the Brookside area of Kansas City, Missouri. She took over the clinic in July, 2009, when Dr. Ringel retired. Dr. Lightfoot lives in Piper, Kansas with her husband Brad, their daughters Georgia and Ella and their Great Dane, Annie May. Dr. Lightfoot also has a cat named CeCe at her clinic.
