Muscatine Veterinary Hospital

At Muscatine Veterinary Hospital we provide a quality surgical experience. Every one of our patients gets pre-operative blood work to help us assess their health prior to their procedure. We also place intravenous catheters to provide fluids during anesthesia and better regulate blood pressure. Under general anesthesia your pet is constantly monitored with advanced equipment and by one of our certified technicians while the veterinarian is performing surgery. After surgery one of our staff members will call to let you know how your pet is doing. We understand surgery can be stressful for owners, and making it as safe as possible is a priority for our clinic.

Regular visits to the veterinarian are important to help keep your pet healthy and get and early diagnosis of any issues. At Muscatine Veterinary Hospital you will have the time to discuss any concerns directly with your veterinarian during an appointment. Together we will create the best wellness plan for your family pet, including; monitoring bloodwork, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, vaccines, behavioral issues, and nutrition.
