Iowa Equine

Dr. Galow-Kersh has called Iowa her home since 2008 when she returned to Iowa State University’s Large Animal Teaching Hospital from being in private equine practice in Oklahoma.

Between the time spent in private practice and the university, Dr. Galow-Kersh has been involved with many different disciplines and their veterinary needs.

Her main practice interest is equine reproduction and she enjoys breeding mares, managing all aspects of the pregnant broodmare and helping clients with their equine breeding goals.

Dr. Galow-Kersh is also certified in veterinary acupuncture. When Nyomi is not working she enjoys spending time with her children and their labrador retriever.

  • Monday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - Closed
  • Sunday - Closed
