Des Moines Equine Veterinary Services is a progressive, all-mobile equine practice where the emphasis is on the rare qualities of commitment, excellence, and integrity. The primary goal of Des Moines Equine is to provide excellent veterinary care for the horse and clear communication to the owner.

Growing up in California, Dr. LaPrade competed on the Hunter/Jumper Circuit, starting in the pony divisions and culminating in the Junior Hunter and Medal divisions. She also advanced through the Pony Club ranks, ultimately achieving her 'B' rating within that organization.
