Safe and Sound Equine Service was started in February 2000 by Scot G. Hanson, DVM, who is a professional, passionate horse doctor.

Since the beginning, Dr. Hanson and his staff have been providing the highest quality care to the growing, diverse horse population of Southwest Atlanta, GA.

We are pleased to offer an extensive range of health care services, diagnostics and performance medicine for horses of all breeds and disciplines.

This includes wellness management that will help protect your horse(s) from illness throughout the year.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We strive to be available for all your horse’s needs. If you should have an emergency, the doctor can be reached at our regular office number (770-252-8414).
