Countryside Equine Veterinary Services

Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Wichita Kansas.

He attended Kansas State University for both his undergraduate and veterinary education.

Upon graduation from veterinary school in 1991, he moved to Virginia.

While there he completed a large animal internship at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.

He also served as an instructor in their ambulatory department. He was in equine practice in the Middleburg area of Northern Virginia before moving to Georgia in 1997.

He is married to Dr. Judy Wilson, a professor at Berry College, and has two grown children.

Dr Amari is from Northwest Georgia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Berry College in Rome.

While studying at Berry, she enjoyed riding and competing on their intercollegiate equestrian team.

In 2005, she graduated from veterinary school at Oklahoma State University.

She then remained in Oklahoma following graduation to complete an internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital.

Dr Amari returned to Georgia to join Countryside Equine Veterinary Service as an associate veterinarian.

In her spare time, she enjoys riding her two horses and training her Labrador Retrievers for AKC hunt test competitions around the country.

  • Thursday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Friday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
