Pets & Friends Animal Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado was started as a sole proprietorship in 1984 by Dr. and Mrs. Tom Bird.

He grew the business substantially over the years until his retirement in 1995.

Beginning in 1996, the business was purchased by a Limited Liability Company, Pets & Friends Animal Hospital, L.L.C. In 2002, Pets & Friends became a sole proprietorship that is currently managed by Lori Mugasis, DVM.

Throughout the years, Pets & Friends has had a tradition of providing the best veterinary care possible.

In our small animal practice, we provide the following: Exams, vaccines, surgery, nursing care, pharmaceuticals, pathology services, dentistry, quality pet products, a clean facility, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous employees, and doctors and staff who love animals and want to provide the best care for them.

Although we deal with some sad situations, there are also many happy ones and we all find it a very rewarding experience to work at Pets & Friends.
