Foothills Animal Hospital is located in the Green Mountain neighborhood of Lakewood Colorado.

Headed up by Dr Roger Liehr, FAH has been serving Colorado animals for over forty years.

Dr. Liehr practiced Veterinary Medicine in New York before moving to Colorado.

Once here, he provided care for animals at Animal Critical Care & Emergency Service in Lakewood, then opened Foothills Animal Hospital in 1979 where he's been ever since.

Our Animal Hospital boasts a professional staff with excellent ‘bedside manner' for your animals.

In house, we have a laboratory for quick diagnosis of your pet as well as a complete pharmacy so you can enjoy one-stop care for your furry friend.

  • Monday - Closed
  • Tuesday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
  • Thursday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Sunday - Closed
