Gunnison Valley Veterinary Clinic

Before settling into a career in veterinary medicine, Kathleen studied and worked in a number of vocations.

Her experience includes working as a family educator for abused and neglected youth, assistant teacher in special education, and owning and running her own home day care.

However, it was not until she was given the opportunity to work as a veterinary technician, that she found her true calling.

Kathleen received a bachelors degree in zoology from Southern Illinois University and accepted a position with USDA’s Wildlife Services in Fort Collins, CO.

While there, she completed her formal veterinary training at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and has since continued her education to include certification in veterinary acupuncture.
