The James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital bears the name of the former dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences for his dedication and long service to the university and the veterinary profession.

Built in 1979, the facility has allowed CSU to become a central location in national and international veterinary science.
