Plateau Valley Animal Hospital
Dr. Clint Dennison graduated from Plateau Valley High School in 1985.
After serving six years in the United States Air Force, he attended Colorado State University to earn his doctorate in veterinary medicine.
He received the Large Animal Surgical Proficiency Award upon graduation, which resulted in a large animal surgical internship at CSU for another year.
He practiced for two years in Oregan before opening his own equine referral hospital in California.
While there, he also served as an associate professor at Western Veterinary College in Pamona, California.
He received his dentistry certification in 2004.
In 2009, he and his family moved back to Collbran, Colorado where he opened the Plateau Valley Animal Hospital.
He has been involved with combat trauma training with the US military and law enforcement and is currently an instructor for outfitting and guiding services where he educates prior military service men in the proper handling of first aid for horses.
Dr. Dennison has served as the state fair veterinarian and the Mesa County fair livestock veterinarian.
In his free time (which is what?), Dr. Dennison has coached basketball and softball, has served on the PVS school board, is a member of the PVS FFA advisory board, mentors the Plateau Valley School FFA veterinary science team, sings in a band named Dennison County Line, and rides horses and raises cattle.
He also enjoys hunting, gunsmithing, and spending time with his family.
