Boone County Veterinary Clinic

The Boone County Veterinary Clinic exists to honor God by striving for excellence as we serve our patients, clients, employees, and community.

Dr. Whitmore did his undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas (go Hogs).

He received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University (go Tigers) in 1988.

Dr. Whitmore returned to the Harrison area (go Gobs) in 1992 where he has lived and raised a family with his wife Lisa.


They have three kids, Cameron, Megan and Walker. In addition their family includes two rescue animals, a cat named Charlie Cuddles McShort stuff (all three kids named him), a dog named Skye (named by our youngest off of paw patrol), and two horses (Missy and Doc)
