Founded in 1982 as Hall Animal Hospital, 280 Animal Medical Center has a long service history to the Westover community. Dr. Jay Crisman purchased the practice in 2013. Since then, the practice has grown to become a regional practice. Our focus at 280 AMC has been, and continues to be to provide premier veterinary services, where you can expect exceptional care delivered “Mayberry Style”. While we exhibit a small town feel, we have an expanding client base from surrounding communities. Dedication to the community along with consistent investment in renovations, advanced medical equipment, and a development of a talented and compassionate staff has enabled the practice to make significant strides toward Dr. Jay’s vision. We now have five doctors on staff (four full time and one part time) who have diverse and complementary skills.

We are equipped to handle all commonly encountered medical and surgical situations and are prepared to help you protect your furry friends with the very best in preventive medicine. Our doctors are committed to excellence and attend more than twice the number of continuing education hours required for licensure each year. In addition to our medical services, we are proud to offer spacious medical boarding accommodations in a safe country setting that is home away from home for our guests. We also enjoy the fun side of our business, through the partnership with WestRover Water Sports and Agility Training behind the practice.
