Companion Animal Hospital proudly helping animals over 30 years for the communities of: Phenix City, Fort Mitchell, Smiths Station, Hurtsboro, Seale, Pittsview in Alabama, Columbus and Fort Benning Georgia and others in the Chattahoochee Valley areas since 1983. Our practice located in Phenix City, AL was built in 1991 by Dr. Cashwell, who won a national award for design excellence. Our animal hospital facility houses a full pharmacy, examination facilities, a dental area, in-house digital radiograph capabilities, a surgery suite with radio wave and cryo surgery capabilities, a supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas. We also provide a wide range of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of reference laboratories. We work closely with specialists when advanced diagnostic procedures are required.

Our veterinarians and care team understand the special role your pet plays in your family. We are dedicated to becoming a partner in your pet's health care and treat your pet as our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Along with the healthcare team at Companion Animal Hospital, Dr. Cashwell, Dr. Herrin, and Dr. Milenkovitch are committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.
