Animal Dental Specialists, located in Pelham, Alabama, is a unique facility that focuses exclusively on animal dental care. Owner and board-certified animal dentist, Dr. Bert Gaddis, has been providing advanced dental care for pets in Birmingham and the surrounding areas since the late 1980’s. He will partner with your primary care veterinarian to provide the skill and experience needed for your pet’s dental challenges. Services provided by Animal Dental Specialists include Complete Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT), digital dental radiography, endodontics, exodontics, oral masses, orthodontics, root planing, tooth resorption, treatment of broken teeth, and more.

Although Animal Dental Specialists is a new name, Dr. Gaddis and his capabilities are familiar to pet owners in Pelham and the Greater Birmingham area. Having purchased Indian Springs Animal Clinic in 1984, Dr. Gaddis has been providing comprehensive veterinary care to pets since that time. After discovering that he had a special interest in veterinary dental care, Dr. Gaddis pursued a residency in dentistry through the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC). In 1991, he established Veterinary Dental Referrals as part of his clinic, in order to provide enhanced dental services for clients and animals of Birmingham area veterinarians.
