Colony Animal Clinic
Colony Animal Clinic was established in 2013 by Dr. William Morrison. Situated in downtown Fairhope, Colony lives at 359 Morphy Avenue, in a beautiful bungalow that was built circa 1918 (per Fairhope Downtown Historic District), allowing us to celebrate its Centennial birthday this year. Colony Animal Clinic has three full time veterinarians which also include Dr. Babette Dixon and Dr. Heather Gill.
Our small animal practice thrives on making our clients, the four legged and the two legged, as comfortable as we can. Our staff is in the process of becoming Fear Free certified, which will address the fears that some pets and owners feel when having to come for a visit. Remodeled in 2017, we have grown in space, adding more kennels, two suites for dogs that include a TV and doggie cookie-tail hour, a fresh water fish tank for the cats, that stay in the comfort of condo’s, and a colorful salt water tank in the reception area. Enjoy a cup of coffee and fresh cookies (sometimes Eva’s amazing home baked!) in our spacious reception area. Zena, our clinic cat, will be on hand to greet you.
If you believe your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call our clinic and speak to one of our receptionist. We will accept any and all walk-in emergencies during our open business hours, but please call ahead so we can better accommodate you and your pet upon arrival.
