Southern Regional Veterinary Specialists began in 2008 after Dr. Robert Martin left his position as a professor of Small Animal Surgery at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech after twenty five years as a faculty member and Director of the Teaching Hospital. After leaving Virginia Tech, Dr. Martin returned to Wiregrass to open Southern Regional Veterinary Specialists. Shortly after opening the referral hospital, Dr. Martin decided to fill a need in the Wiregrass veterinary community by opening Southern Regional Veterinary Emergency Services.

Our family owned and operated hospital is founded upon three core pillars of care: compassion, skill, and service. This means that you will not only receive the help of highly specialized and skilled individuals, but the attention and care of professionals who understand what you are going through and are prepared to help in every way possible.

  • Monday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Friday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday - Closed
  • Sunday - Closed
