Sand Mountain Small Animal Equine Hospital

Sand Mountain Small Animal/Equine Hospital was established in 1991 and began with Dr. Roger A. Adams and three employees. Since our humble beginnings, we have upgraded and grown our hospital and services, while maintaining our original integrity and compassion, as well as our commitment to patients and owners. Sand Mountain Small Animal/Equine Hospital is a full-service veterinary facility, serving the animal health needs of the Boaz, Albertville, Guntersville, Sardis City, and Douglas areas of Alabama.

Some of the services that our hospital provides are dental care, in-clinic diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser surgery, and laser therapy. Sand Mountain Small Animal/Equine Hospital also has equine facilities available for in-patient care. Dr. Adams has years of experience performing a variety of surgical procedures. He also has a special interest in the equestrian field, serving as a farrier from 1979 to 1987, and as a veterinarian since 1987. His knowledge and interest in equine medicine has made him a popular choice for equine owners in the Boaz area.
