Eye Clinic Veterinary
Our founder and veterinarian, Dr. Todd Hammond, specializes in animal eye care and is a fully licensed DVM, MS, DACVO.
He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1974 at Colorado State University, long before starting Eye Clinic Veterinary in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
After completing a residency, he was awarded a master's degree in comparative ophthalmology in 1984.
In 1985, he became a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist.
He also attended the University of Texas medical school and Herman Eye Center in Houston, Texas for further comparative ophthalmology training.
Dr. Hammond was an affiliate faculty member in clinical sciences at CSU from 1982-1987.
In addition, he has presented at national and local meetings and has published articles and book chapters.
Multiple times a year he travels a circuit to the western slope of Colorado to perform eye clinics.

- Monday - Limited hours
- Tuesday - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Wednesday - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Thursday - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Friday - Large animal equine appointments only
- Saturday - Closed
- Sunday - Closed
