Cartersville Animal Hospital

Cartersville Animal Hospital has been in existence since Dr. Bill Williams opened the doors in the early 1960s, in what was then the countryside outside of town.

Following Dr. Williams’ retirement in the late 1980s, the facility was remodeled to become a small animal exclusive practice accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Dr. Kevin McElwee joined the practice in 1988 and took ownership in 1997, with the goal of providing our community with quality, compassionate veterinary care that was convenient to his clients and to set a standard of care that embraced those goals.

Hours:

  • Monday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Wednesday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Thursday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Friday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Saturday - 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Sunday - Closed
