Atlanta Veterinary Eye Clinic

When you enter the doors of AVEC, you will be greeted by a warm and compassionate staff. Dr. Powell-Johnson spends
an hour with her new patients and clients, as client education is a priority.

During this hour, dry eye and glaucoma screening is completed.

After evaluating the patient, ocular anatomy and the clinical findings are reviewed.

Screening for genetic disease is an important aspect of the initial ocular examination.

Dr. Powell-Johnson reviews the medical/surgical recommendations for management of the individual case, and then entertains questions from the owner.

There is a complete ophthalmic pharmacy at AVEC which is available at the front desk.

The experienced staff is there to answer any questions you have regarding your pharmacy needs, scheduling surgery and making appointments.
