Mayfield Pet Hospital

Since our formation in 1955, Mayfield Pet Hospital has served the needs of tens of thousands of dogs and cats and their owners. In 2011, senior veterinarian and owner Dr. James Ringer retired and the practice was taken over by Dan Winger who has worked at Mayfield Pet Hospital for 26 years. As Dan says, “A lot of veterinarian practices can seem cold and can leave people with the feeling that they’re all about the money. That’s not what we’re about. At Mayfield Pet Hospital we know our clients well. They’re like family to us. We love dealing with our clients and taking care of their animals. There’s nothing more satisfying than a dog or cat coming in sick and going home licking your face.” Senior Veterinarian Dr. Nancy Hankins agrees: “We have a family feel here. We don’t want someone to feel like they’re in a hospital.” Dr. Jacyln Olson adds: “I love the client interaction and taking care of the animals. We treat them like our own."

For over 60 years, Mayfield Pet Hospital has provided compassionate, quality veterinarian care for dogs and cats and support for the people who love them. Unlike some veterinarian practices that can sometimes seem cold and clinical, our knowledgeable and committed veterinarians and staff take the time to get to know you, listen to you, and show we genuinely care.

Each member of our team has pets of our own and we take great pride in treating your pets like our own. Since 1955, Mayfield Pet Hospital has had the privilege of caring for tens of thousands of animals and we’re proud of our A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.
