Hands to Paws

Hands to Paws, LLC was founded by Dr. Pamela Varga, who has practiced veterinary medicine and surgery for 20+ years. She has been a holistic veterinarian for the past 15 years and following her passion, eventually transitioned Hands to Paws in 2018 to a 100% holistic veterinary practice.

Dr. Varga is a certified veterinary acupuncturist servicing the central shore New Jersey area. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and The International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

Dr. Varga chose to undergo acupuncture treatments due to a spinal cord and back injury that conventional medicine could not help. After a month of acupuncture treatments, she had made a full recovery from her injury which prompted her to explore providing acupuncture therapy for her animal patients. Shortly after, she was certified in Veterinary Acupuncture by Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Varga has spent years also studying TCM acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and incorporates both philosophies into her acupuncture treatments.
