Salina is the regional trade center for north-central Kansas. Salina has parks and recreational activities for families as well as vibrant nightlife. The Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure delights kids of all ages, and Indian Rock, the tallest point in the area, offers several hiking trails. The city hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, such as the Smoky Hill River Festival and Blues Masters at the Crossroads. Each year in November, Salina hosts its Christmas festival, which includes a 5k run, live music and dance performances, and the Parade of Lights. Salina has something to offer everyone!
