South Hyland Pet Hospital

South Hyland Pet Hospital was founded in 1974 by Dr. James A. Libby. Dr. Libby graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1959.

After graduation he practiced for several years and went on to receive a Master’s of Science degree from the Ohio State University in 1965.

After graduation, he was an instructor at the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and then assistant professor at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

He also held a veterinary position at the United States Department of Agriculture for five years.

South Hyland Pet Hospital strives to provide exceptional care for pets in Bloomington and surrounding communities.

As a practice which is AAHA accredited, we value expertise and dedication to the care of the patients we treat.

Hours:

  • Monday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Friday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Sunday - Closed
